My apartment internet went offline on Friday, so I couldn’t log in Saturday morning’s three hour hike in Torrey Pines State Park. Since the rest of the day was spent moving heavy boxes, I didn’t get a chance to or feel a need to lift that day.
Today’s workout:
1×10/side single-leg split squats
2×6/side forward and back lunges @ 25#
10/8/6 back squats at 85#
2×15 calf raises
2×10 lateral shoulder raise @ 10#
10/8/6 bar shoulder press @ 50#
2×10 seated DB curls @ 15#
2×21 rapid-fire DB curls 21-style @ 10#
Additional notes-to-self:
— The rapid-fire 21’s are an interesting exercise and seem to actually reduce long-term soreness in the biceps muscle, despite doing traditional curls beforehand. Should experiment with this style more.
